Overview
Reporting to Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Vice President K-LOVE Shares provides leadership and oversight to new K-LOVE Inc. initiatives such as college brands, kids/youth initiatives, and other new ministries. The keys to success will be organizing all details from conception to execution while providing clear and concise information to key stakeholders. Providing effective leadership, strategic execution, networking, and internal collaboration across ministry departments. Ensure all the new initiatives and new ministries’ events, outreaches, streams, podcasts, influencer deals, and more, are done at a best-in-class level execution resulting in lives impacted for Jesus.

This role will be on-site at our Franklin, TN offices.
Here’s just some of what you will be doing daily…
- Provides strategic direction for the development and execution of K-LOVE Shares new initiatives and ministries.
- Oversee day-to-day new ministries activities which may include negotiation of agreements; planning and administration of the budget (national, regional and local).
- Oversee and direct K-LOVE Shares streaming. Participate in appropriate promotional events and other industry-related events, positively representing the new ministries.
- Oversee the efforts of the Marketing Team through leadership to ensure consistent brand messaging and that event participation is strategic, increasing brand visibility and recognition.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team on all merchandise and product design to create demand and recognition for K-LOVE Shares brand.
- In partnership with the K-LOVE Radio Group Program Director and the Programming Team, dig into available research, deepen understanding of K-LOVE and Air1’s target audience to achieve excellent brand connection, engagement and grow overall reach for K-LOVE Shares ministries.
- In partnership with the leader of podcasts and streaming, evaluate available research, launch new research, deepen understanding of potential target audience of our streaming offerings to ascertain what streams should be launched to achieve excellent brand connection, engagement and grow overall reach for the new ministries.
- Measure and evaluate marketing effectiveness utilizing benchmarks and market analysis research. Translate and work with Data Services for information captured from research, ratings, etc.
- Optimize opportunities through on-page content and relevancy expanding the K-LOVE Shares footprint in digital media through paid advertising.
- Strategically position web and digital assets to carry the message and vision of the K-LOVE Shares brand. Partner with Programming and Content Teams to ensure web and digital support of on-air, on-podcast, on-stream, and on-demand messaging.
- Provide strategic leadership, mentoring and developing a highly competent and responsive K-LOVE Shares team, ensuring alignment of goals and ministry initiatives with K-LOVE Inc.’s mission. Foster a learning environment where training, risk management, operational best practices, and biblical values go hand in hand with creative and entrepreneurial solution that best fulfill the ministry’s mission.
- Provide functional leadership to K-LOVE Shares new initiatives and new ministries.
- Utilize the K-LOVE Inc. Leadership Framework in setting professional goals for self and direct reports. Actively seek and partake in training & education to deepen Biblical understanding, media/business acumen, leadership knowledge, interpersonal awareness, and communication skills.

- Bachelor’s degree, or combination of education/training with relevant experience.
- Minimum 10 plus years’ experience in an executive Management/Leadership role (Director or above).
- At least 2 years of experience working in entertainment or media industry strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership in new initiatives, executing strategies, and/or operations.
- Broad experience in nonprofit or ministry organizations.
- Global or international experience is an added plus.
- Ability to work across boundaries and across the organization to build collaborative relationships.
- Capability to influence cross functionally and cross departmentally by inspiring and motivating others to act.
- Strong computer skills; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Mac and PC.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business/ministry relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills with ability to clearly communicate with various stakeholders.
