QUALIFICATIONS :
Appropriate Certification or Licensure as established by the Ohio Department of Education is required. Minimum three years teaching experience is required.
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION :
Takes an active role in assisting as an instructional leader and administrative officer of the assigned building and is responsible for assisting in the direction of the instructional program, operation of the school plant, coordination of staff and student activities, and participation in community affairs.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :
- Ability to analyze data and help make instructional decisions for students;
- Communicates regularly with students, staff, parents and administrative team;
- Helps to implement district curricular goals and support RTI process;
- Works with building staff and students to create a climate that is positive for learning;
- Enforces Board policy in relationship to student discipline;
- Ability to evaluate teachers and provide constructive feedback on job performance;
- Participates in building IAT and attends all required IEP meetings; supports building principal in meeting building and district goals.
