General Responsibilities
Under the general direction of the Administrative Assistant, the Early Care & Education (ECE) Program Support Specialist provides routine department support.
Salary:
The full range for this position is $45,011.20 - $54,766.40. Offers are made at the entry level of the range.
Assignment:
This position will work full-time, year-round. he position also requires a criminal history check and fingerprint check through the Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF), proof of MMR immunization, a health exam and TB test prior to starting.
Essential Functions/Other Functions
Essential Functions:
- Receive and screen phone calls and visitors.
- Enter data in multiple databases.
- Establish and maintain professional, effective working relationships with families, staff and community partners.
- Adhere to program performance standards.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Maintain and process fiscal reports, travel documents, timesheets, purchase orders, and credit card transactions.
- Process orders and track expenses according to accounting procedures.
- Receive and process freight and distribute inventory as needed.
- Travel to various locations, i.e. child care sites and community events to support programs.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experiene in providing customer service, managing high-volume phone calls, and handling electronic communications efficiently in an office environment.
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs and other databases.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Valid driver's license.
- Experience working in an Early Childhood program.
- Bi-cultural.
- Office environment.
- Perform stationary routine and repetitive functions for extended periods.
- Frequent sitting, stooping and bending, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Regular attendance during scheduled work hours that can include events in the evening and on weekends.
- Ability to travel to multiple sites throughout Clark County.
- Successful completion of a portable background check and clearance through the WA State Department of Children, Youth, & Families.
- Tuberculosis test to meet state health requirements.
