General Responsibilities Under the direction of an ECE Manager, the Services Coordinator will coordinate and oversee direct services for Early Care and Education programs. Salary: The full annual salary range is $61,235.20 - $74,505.60. Offers are made at the entry level of the range. Assignment: This position will be full-time, year-round. The position also requires a criminal history check and fingerprint check through the Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) as well as a health exam, TB test, and proof of MMR immunization or exemption prior to starting. Essential Functions/Other Functions Essential Functions:
  1. Supervise, evaluate and train staff.
  2. Provide a variety of job-embedded professional learning experiences for staff including reflective supervision, reflective practice, training, coaching and mentoring.
  3. Provide support & guidance to Family Support Specialists using the principles of home visiting & case management.
  4. Provide support and guidance to staff around SMART goal setting with families.
  5. Conduct staff observations and provide feedback on a continuous on-going basis.
  6. Use monthly reports to monitor Family Support deliverables.
  7. Provide support and guidance on monthly Community Connect family engagement activities, socializations and policy council events.
  8. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with families, staff and community partners.
  9. Work collaboratively with other program leaders to meet the needs of the individual child with concern for age, interest, disabilities, special talents, cultural backgrounds and individual styles.
  10. Assist with outreach, recruitment and enrollment activities.
Other Functions:
  1. Maintain strong professional and personal boundaries.
  2. Demonstrate a commitment to on-going professional learning and growth.
  3. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum/Preferred Qualifications & Skills Minimum Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree and one year of experience providing administrative support to an educational or social service program.
  2. Experience with Microsoft Office products and database software.
  3. Understanding of Early Head Start, ECEAP and child care performance standards and regulations.
  4. Experience working with low-income or at-risk populations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. nowledge of ChildPlus.
  2. Knowledge of Parents as Teachers curriculum.
  3. Knowledge of HOVRS, Mobility Mentoring, and Motivational Interviewing.
  4. Bilingual/Bicultural.
Working Conditions/Employment Requirements Working Conditions:
  1. Travel throughout the ESD service region.
  2. Physical environment may include office settings, family homes, child care and preschool programs or community work sites.
  3. Extended or flexible hours as necessary.
Employment Requirements:
  1. Successful completion of a criminal history check and fingerprint check through the Department of Children, Youth, and Families.
  2. Valid certification in CPR and first-aid, HIV/Blood Borne Pathogens training, and current food handler's card. (Can complete after hire)
  3. Tuberculosis test to meet state health requirements.
  4. Health Exam.
