We are seeking dedicated and passionate Special Education Teachers to join our team serving various school districts throughout the Columbia River Gorge. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and support to students with a range of moderate to severe disabilities.
Responsibilities
The Special Education Teacher will lead the IEP team to develop data-driven student learning and behavioral goals, design and implement individualized curriculum, and continuously assess student progress towards IEP objectives. They will also provide classroom, small group, and one-on-one instruction to special education students, conduct assessments to determine program eligibility and services, and utilize technology to document data collection.
Requirements
- A valid Washington teaching certificate with K-12 special education endorsement is required.
- Experience in writing individualized curriculum and developing behavior management programs is highly desirable.
