Immediate Supervisor: District Personnel and ESU #3 Chief Information Officer
Staff Supervised: None
Essential Requirements:
- No history of child abuse or negligence.
- Post-high school training or degree preferred.
- Basic understanding and knowledge of Audio Video Systems and their set up along with the capacity & willingness to learn systems’ upgrades or new applications.
- Knowledge of Video Conferencing Systems along with the ability to troubleshoot these systems.
- Advanced knowledge of Mac and Windows based computers systems, iOS, and Android operating systems with the ability to do basic repairs.
- Video editing knowledge and skill.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Successfully pass required background checks.
- Regular and dependable in person attendance is required and is considered a condition of employment.
- The assigned duties of this position are not eligible for remote work consideration.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Understand and comply with the ESU #3 Board of Education Personnel Policies and Employee Handbook.
- Provide Technical Support to Teachers, Staff and Students
a. Will be available during normal working hours and on call during non-normal working hours.
b. Provide technical support for all technology at Conestoga Schools including computing devices, projectors and other displays, printers and software issues
c. Act as a conduit for level 2 support provided by Educational Service Unit #3.
3. Identify possible areas for improvement and work with Conestoga Administrators and ESU Administrators for vc implementation.
4. Work within a helpdesk environment
5. Be familiar with the technologies below
a. Windows Operating Systems
b. Google System
c. Macintosh Operating System
d. Network Security Concepts
e. Operating System and Network Troubleshooting
f. Printer support and troubleshooting
g. Peripheral support to include Smartboards, projectors and camera systems
- Other duties as assigned.
At Will Employment: Employment with ESU #3 is not for any period of time, and employment may be terminated at any time at the convenience of the terminating party, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Evaluation: Annually, by District Personnel and the Chief Information Officer.
Compensation: Annual Salary to be set by the ESU #3 Board.
