Job Summary:
Educational Solutions is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Career and Technical Education (CTE) Lead to oversee and grow career readiness and work-based learning opportunities for students in grades 6–12. This position is responsible for coordinating CTE pathways, building industry partnerships, placing students in internships, and supporting graduation requirements such as the Ohio Means Jobs-Readiness Seal. The ideal candidate has a strong background in career education, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for connecting students to real-world opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage CTE and Work-Based Learning programs across grades 6–12
- Build partnerships with local businesses and community organizations to expand internship and job shadowing opportunities
- Coordinate student placements and monitor progress in work-based learning experiences
- Deliver career readiness training on topics such as resumes, interviews, and workplace skills
- Support the integration of career exploration into middle school curriculum
- Guide students in earning Ohio Means Jobs-Readiness Seal and other graduation credentials
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and school leaders to align CTE programs with academic goals and state standards
- Track student participation, credentialing, and outcomes to evaluate program effectiveness
- Promote student success through newsletters, social media, and community engagement
- Ensure compliance with all Ohio Department of Education CTE regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Career & Technical Education, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 3 years of experience in career and technical education, workforce development, or school leadership
- Familiarity with Ohio's graduation requirements and CTE framework
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Experience coordinating internships or work-based learning programs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
