Job Summary
ESI is seeking an IT Project Manager to support one of our customers in assisting with architecture and project management across their operations as well as rebuilding a specific application, Information Technology Contract Tool (ITCT).
Responsibilities
Task Coordination
- Maintain accurate and detailed minutes of all meetings and contacts with IRS employees and personnel throughout the task order period.
- Compile and include minutes in the weekly status report, providing comprehensive documentation of interactions.
Kickoff Meetings
- Conduct a virtual kickoff meeting within two weeks of task order award to establish communication between the Government and the contractor.
- Collaborate with key participants to introduce roles, review ground rules, and ensure a mutual understanding of task order requirements and objectives.
- Develop a draft kickoff meeting agenda for review and approval by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and provide it at least three days before the meeting.
- Cover various topics, including personnel, Government Furnished Property (GFP), clearances, work understanding, accounting periods, and task expectations.
- Present a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and schedule for all tasks within 10 days of receiving Government-provided information.
- Propose a format for delivering status reports and dashboards, subject to discussion and approval during the kickoff meeting.
Ramp-Up Knowledge Transfer (If Applicable)
- Oversee the transfer of knowledge, documentation, and information related to ongoing work, particularly for Core Systems, Compliance Document Matching, and Solutions Engineering/Enterprise Services.
- Develop a Knowledge Transfer Plan (KTP) within the first 15 business days after task order award, covering resources, roles, risks, and a project schedule.
- Collaborate with the Government to refine the KTP, ensuring alignment with requirements.
- Provide weekly status reports and an updated MS Project Schedule to monitor knowledge transfer progress.
Period of Performance Summary Reports
- Provide a summary report at the end of each Base Period and Option Period of Performance.
- Include a list of work performed and accepted by the Government, deliverables, and other relevant information.
- Prepare ad hoc reports if requested by the COR.
- Regularly submit detailed weekly status reports covering work performed, issues, barriers, problems, recommendations, and other pertinent information.
Qualifications
- Active MBI Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in systems, hardware, and software specified in the Scope of Work.
- Specialized experience in software deployment, configuration management, and DevOps practices.
- Proficiency in Rational Tools, Ansible, Git-based SCM, and Nexus Repository.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage meetings, document interactions, and collaborate with key stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with project management tools and practices.
- Knowledge of IRS IT systems and processes is a plus.
