Description:
Edwards Auto Group in Council Bluffs, IA is looking for a Warranty Administrator to join the team. The Warranty Administrator will be responsible for reviewing and completing Warranty claims and submitting them appropriately.
Responsibilities:
- Process all warranty claims in a timely manner, before specified date if required
- Process all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation
- Verifies criteria required by factory or distributor
- Resubmits all rejected claims promptly or receives authorizations for write offs
- Follow up on payment of outstanding claims
- Tracks warranty parts by tagging repair order number, date or replacement
- Files and maintains all service records as required by warrantor
- Keeps informed of all factory recalls and bulletins
- Assist with other clerical needs and responsibilities as assigned by management
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude and customer focused demeanor
- Proficient typing skills
- Previous warranty work is highly preferred
