Job Details:
This is a full-time position, Monday – Friday, occasional weekends as needed. Salary range depends on experience – $90,000.00 to $150,000.
Position Summary:
The project manager for ECG will be responsible for planning, estimating, and managing all aspects of their construction projects while being accountable for the project’s success in a timely and efficient manner.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Define project scope and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management.
· Create and maintain project documentation, Schedules, Budgets, Progress reporting.
· Accountable to manage at a high level the planning and communication of all risks, safety, and job quality with total compliance across all phases of the project with regards to customers, superintendents’, and sub-contractors.
· Proven ability to resolve ongoing issues with an exceptional degree of professionalism while negotiating, managing resources, and coordinating projects.
· Provide job assignments while managing career development with ongoing guidance and feedback of work performance for your direct team (ex. Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, Superintendent).
· Managing the total financial health of your projects with billing submittal/change orders and job closeouts both with owners and on-site representatives as well as the accounting department.
· Building strong relationships with existing customers, sub-contractors’ and potential new clients.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Minimum of 5 years proven ability of prior estimating/bidding experience while managing small/large commercial construction projects.
· In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material needs and generally accepted construction business practices.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to handle a fast paced-ever changing environment while meeting all existing deadlines and budget projections.
· Ability to articulate job expectations with a high degree of professionalism when visiting jobsites and communicating with subcontractors, tradesmen, engineers, clients, etc.
· Ability to read drawings and specifications.
· Ability to lead and motivate your team members to perform at an exceptional level.
· Must possess the ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
· Ability to work collaboratively with an inclusive-diverse workforce.
· Experience with SAGE 100 Contractor.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
· Travel – as required if project dictates.
· Ability to pass a background check.
Education and Experience:
Commercial Project Management/Tenant Improvement – minimum of 5 years (required).
BS degree in Construction and/or Management, Architectural Engineering or Business
a plus but not required.
