About the Role
We are seeking a Legal Secretary to be the first point of contact for our clients and provide essential administrative support to our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-facing position, has strong organizational skills, and is eager to contribute to a team that makes a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement : Answer and forward phone calls, greet clients, and conduct initial case intake to determine fit for the firm.
- Administrative Support : Maintain incoming faxes, sort and distribute mail, schedule appointments, book meetings (in-person and virtual), and arrange couriers.
- Legal Assistance : Prepare and file legal documents, maintain case records, and manage various portal sites used to collect medical records and bills.
- Office Management : Keep the reception area organized and ensure the office operates smoothly.
- Collaboration : Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to enhance workflow and client experience.
