Speaks Law Firm is seeking a Senior Trial Attorney to join our litigation team. The perfect candidate is tenacious, authentic, and focused on achieving the best outcome for our clients. We are looking for an experienced attorney with personal injury expertise, strong work ethic and humility to join our fast-growing, nationally recognized firm.Responsibilities : Lead and develop associate attorneys and paralegals in litigation departmentAnalyze evidence including medical records and investigative findings, interview clients and witnesses, consult field experts, and research statutes and case lawPrepare legal documents such as briefs, motions, pleadings, and other correspondenceCollaborate with Senior Leadership to determine case strategies and solutions to serve client's needs after thorough analysis and review of plaintiff and defense positionsResolve cases to achieve the best possible outcome for the client through mediation, arbitration, and trialEvaluate processes within the litigation department and streamline processesParticipate in weekly and biweekly meetings including 1 : 1’s with direct reportsParticipate in marketing initiatives such as podcasts, blogs, and ad campaignsQualifications : Active member of NC Bar Association requiredActive member of SC Bar Association a plusSeven (7) or more years of experience in personal injury litigation requiredProficiency in writing, research, negotiation, and public speaking requiredMust have authentic and persuasive communication and oratory skillsIntermediate to advanced computer skills requiredExperience with Needles Neos Case Management Software a plusPassion for advocating for our clients and maintaining a positive attitude requiredCompensationThis is a full-time salary exempt position.
