What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clean Up- Night Shift position at EDWARDS WOOD PRODUCTS?
Hours-5:30pm-5:30am
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for maintaining clean and well-organized workspace around machinery within the Pallet Shop area. This includes but not limited to industrial cleaning of assigned machines (exp: Removing wood dust from floors. Placing wood pieces in vibrator.) and the areas around assigned machines. Required to utilize wheel barrel and possibly other equipment during clean up. Working in low clearance machines- requiring employee to be on hands and knees during cleanup to complete clean up tasks. The job can be considered hot and dusty at times also. Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
1. Follow written and verbal instructions
2. Maintain clean up equipment in a neat and orderly fashion.
3. Work in a safe manner following EWPI Safety Rules and Regulations.
4. Following all Lock-Out/Tag-out safety rules
5. Excellent Attendance.
6. Capable of doing physical labor.
7. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.50 - $14.50 per hour
