Here, you will provide advanced treatment and comprehensive care to best address the medical, physical, emotional and vocational challenges for individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiples traumas.
Responsibilities
- Assists with outcomes reporting and patient satisfaction reporting, in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Assists with the creation of opportunities for clinical staff to investigate research interests and supports department director with the development of research proposals with appropriate.
- Supports department director with research initiatives to maximize opportunities for clinical research in accordance with research policies.
- Collaborates with key clinicians/departments on integration of research established best practices into care regiments for patients.
- Supports department director with data analysis and prepares outcome reports for the following:
- Program teams
- Performance improvement teams
- Patient satisfaction reports
- Follow-up data
- Creates custom reports to support clinical objectives of the organization in order to support data driven decision-making across the organization.
- Manages the patient satisfaction system in e-rehab to assure consistent data collection and data entry as well as meaningful reports that can be used for process improvement.
- Assists in the preparation of research grant applications.
- Assists in maintaining records for research studies.
- Assists in clinical research data acquisition, compliance with appropriate confidential data management and storage.
- Aids in the preparation of manuscripts for publication and PowerPoint presentations for educational and research conference submissions and lectures.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- Experience with databases and Excel (advanced) is required.
- Previous experience with project management is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree is preferred.
- Experience with statistical software is preferred.
- Experience within rehab field is preferred.
- Experience in hospital data collection and research is preferred.
