Job Description

The Solar Service Technician is the primary point of contact for eEquals' solar customers. This role encompasses both in-office customer support and on-site service responsibilities. The technician will provide exceptional customer service, troubleshoot non-electrical system issues, conduct installations, and perform maintenance on solar energy systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance checks and inspections to identify issues or malfunctions.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems with solar energy systems, focusing on non-electrical components.
  • Repair or replace components and parts, such as damaged solar panels, faulty inverters, or malfunctioning components as needed.
  • Conduct performance tests and measurements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate service records.
  • Collaborate with team members for seamless project execution.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The targeted compensation for this role is between $22.00 and $30.00 per hour, however, it may vary depending on location. Illinois compensation expectations are between $22.00 and $30.00 per hour.
