Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects and ensure their successful completion. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and coordinating with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) standards, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines, and NEC (National Electrical Code)
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any issues or deviations from plans
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to maintain effective communication and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise
- Utilize construction management software to track documentation
- Implementing OSHA Guidelines at all times, to avoid injury & penalties.
- Developing Site Safety Plans for sites.JSA’s, Safe Plan of Action and Safety Observation Reports.
- Implementing Site Safety and Health programs, equipment inspections, air monitoring, and overall safe working conditions on various job sites.
- Monitor Hazardous Materials Transport, Confined Space Entry, Safety Attendants, Fall Protection, Electrical Safety, Inspection of Safety Equipment, Rigging Equipment, Electrical Tools, Welding Equipment.
- Site Control, SOP’s, Safe Use of Engineering Controls, the Emergency Response Plan, Confined Space Entry Procedures, Spill Containment Program, and Preparation of Records, Daily Safety and Health Inspections.
- Conducting Safety Orientations for workers and subcontractors as well as implementation and enforcement of Fed/OSHA and Cal/OSHA Rules and Regulations.
- Lockout, Tag-Out Procedures, Vehicle Entry Permits.
- Hot Work Permits, Trenching Permits, Water Rights. Electrical Safety Inspections.
- Documenting OSHA Recordable, Employee Injuries, and Contractors SPA’s (Safety Plan of Action).
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction principles and practices
- Proficiency in compliance management, including EHS standards, OSHA guidelines, and NEC regulations
- Experience in risk management and implementing safety protocols
- Familiarity with construction management software for project tracking and documentation
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills to manage resources, timelines, and budgets effectively
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure
- Knowledge of occupational health requirements for construction sites
- Understanding of workers' compensation processes
