The Web Merchandising Coordinator is responsible for supporting the execution of merchandising strategies that drive user engagement and direct-to-consumer sales on the Go Ahead Tours website. The ideal candidate has experience optimizing e-commerce shopping journeys and utilizing data to improve site content engagement and conversion rates.
This role will assist in the development of merchandising plans and directly manage the deployment of updates to merchandising and content marketing elements on our websites. They will assist in the development of creative briefs and own the management of merchandising calendars. We are a test-and-learn-focused organization and this person will have the ability to interpret general web analytics data and translate it into actionable merchandising insights. Specifically:
What you'll do:
- Maintain merchandising calendar that aligns to product development schedules, promotions, inventory planning, and marketing campaigns
- Support the management of onsite assortment presentation and work with planning teams and analytics teams to ensure inventory coverage
- Collaborate with brand and marketing teams on new product launches and provide guidance on how to leverage the website effectively for these campaigns
- Measure and analyze consumer engagement of site merchandising tactics and develop actionable insights aimed at increasing conversion opportunities
- Engage with Brand, Creative and Content Management teams to obtain and curate website content. Ensure content is accurate and meets brand quality standards
- Continually monitor key competitors to identify opportunities to out-convert and surpass any perceived advantages in the market
Who you are:
- 3 years of e-commerce experience, primarily in merchandising roles
- Analytical reasoning skills to produce insights aimed at driving results
- Strong project planning, tracking, and impeccable follow-up skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead them successfully to completion
- Passion for learning with an inherent drive to test new things
- Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to build trust and become a respected and trusted team player
- Organizational agility to effectively work and connect with team members across multiple functions in a matrixed organization
- Detail-oriented and operationally-focused
- Ability to quickly learn necessary technical tools
- Desire to continually improve work and welcomes open dialog / feedback
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or similar field preferred

- Experience in the travel industry
