🧪 About the Role

We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager – CAPEX to lead high-value capital investment projects for one of our pharmaceutical or biotech clients.

You will drive project delivery from feasibility through commissioning and handover, managing teams, vendors, and contractors in a regulated GMP environment. This is a client-facing consulting role requiring strong project leadership, technical coordination, and excellent communication skills.

🧳 Some travel is expected depending on the project site — flexibility and availability to be on-site when needed is essential.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of CAPEX projects (facility buildouts, equipment installation, utilities, etc.)
• Manage scope, budget, schedule, and risk across all phases of the project lifecycle
• Coordinate EPCM contractors, vendors, engineering teams, QA, validation, and internal stakeholders
• Supervise installation, construction progress, and ensure alignment with GMP and safety requirements
• Prepare and maintain project documentation (project charters, timelines, reporting dashboards)
• Drive resolution of technical and logistical challenges across multiple workstreams
• Travel as required to client or vendor sites to ensure project success and stakeholder alignment

🎯 What We’re Looking For

• 8 years of experience managing CAPEX projects in Life Sciences (pharma, biotech, medtech)
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and interface with client leadership
• Strong understanding of GMP regulations, technical project delivery, and commissioning processes
• Skilled in project controls (scheduling, budgeting, risk management)
• Proficiency with tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
• PMP certification is a plus
• Willingness to travel based on project needs (typically within the U.S.)
