Position Summary:
Position will be responsible as the primary owner of assigned projects from inception to construction completion and closeout including but not limited to the scope, schedule and budget for each project. Coordination with all internal and external stakeholders is required to bring the assigned projects to successful completion.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaboration: The DPM should own and exemplify cross-functional and external collaboration with all stakeholders to most efficiently execute a project or program to meet EGA’s desired outcomes.
2. Initial Design & Plan Review: the DPM will be responsible for working through initial design with consultants and critically review them for feedback that comports with EGA’s stated intent.
3. Entitlements: The DPM will be responsible for coordination with consultants on any entitlements required for the project. This may include occasional attendance to public meetings to represent EGA.
4. Permitting: The DPM will be responsible for the coordination of all permit submissions necessary for the construction of any given project.
5. Construction Administration: The DPM will be responsible for all activity related to Construction Bidding, GC Selection/Qualifying, Construction schedule, GC/vendor payment, final construction budgets & construction oversight and closeout. DPM will be required to travel to job sites on an as needed basis.
6. Overall Project Management: the DPM will be expected to exhibit the best practices of project management to arrive at accurate budgets at all phases for approvals, develop overall project scope and ensure projects remain on schedule individually and as part of an overall program.
Working Relationships: Field Leaders, Design Professionals, General Contractors, Subcontractors, Equipment Vendors, Local/State Agencies, Regulatory Officials, and other EG America SSC personnel in multiple departments.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, construction management or equal
Preferred Education:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management with complimentary certifications or graduate work such as PMP or Graduate Certificates.
Minimum Experience:
5 years of Capital Retail Development experience including design, entitlements, permitting and construction disciplines.
Preferred Experience:
7 years of Capital Retail Development in the C-Store/Petroleum sector with experience in program management, design, entitlements, permitting and construction disciplines.
Licenses/Certifications:
None Required.

Other Requirements:
Travel: Travel up to 50%, depending upon geographic location. Must have a clean driving record.
Hours & Conditions: Typically, Monday – Friday for 8 hours/day during normal business hours with occasional weekend work to attend events or address critical issues.
Physical Requirements: Ability to maneuver and regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Ability to stand/walk 8 hours a day; reach overhead, bend, squat, twist, reach, grasp and grip and work in cooler (cold temperatures). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
