Job Description
As Applications Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting and advancing the EG4 product line through both pre-sales and post-sales activities. Your primary responsibilities will include providing technical solutions and troubleshooting for on-site installations, conducting training sessions for internal teams and external partners, and ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing technical queries and proposing optimal solutions.
A successful candidate must be able to :
Understand EG4 products in a technical manner and provide a deep understanding of how they work in a customer application.
Provide pre and post sales technical solution for EG4 products
System level troubleshooting and commissioning of EG4 products related to their end application
Organize in house training for Sales and Marketing
Provide technical trainings / seminars for EPC / Installers / Distributors
Provide customer support by responding well to customer technical questions and understanding customer technical requirements to propose optimal solutions to strengthen customer relationship and trust
Prepare technical manual / articles
Work with Product Line Managers to help define next generation products
A successful candidate will demonstrate :
Strong system level knowledge and troubleshooting skills of those systems
Willing to provide hands-on pre and post sales technical solutions / demonstrations to support, repair, and R&D teams
Solution oriented mindset focused on the customers application
Confident in conducting technical trainings and technical presentations to partners and customers
Prompt response to end user / partners technical inquiries
Keep awareness of new product launch and acquire its technical knowledge
Qualifications :
BSEE or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
3 - 5 years of experience as a Applications Engineer in a related field
Experience in AC Inverter / Mechatronics are a plus
Project management skills are a plus
Physical Requirements :
This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, lifting 50 lbs, bending, stooping, computer work, working with live electricity, and other physical activities. Candidates should be able to meet these physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.
