Join Egan Company as an Assistant Project Manager in our Electrical Construction group! As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll support Project Managers in executing and planning a variety of construction projects. In this role, you'll aid in ensuring that projects of all sizes are completed both on time and on budget. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project team to plan, setup, and manage construction projects.
- Navigate and use Egan's project management systems and processes.
- Promotes a positive safety culture by ensuring Egan's safety policies and goals are communicated and followed on assigned projects.
- Participate in construction document analysis to develop clear and consistent interpretations.
- Become familiar with the materials, equipment, and components of the technical systems installed by Egan's trades.
- Advise project management of potential problems, work interferences, schedule difficulties, and the like, as it relates to assigned duties. Learn how Egan can circumvent and / or resolve such problems.
- Compose and edit letters, memos, reports, and procedures; assist with change orders, project billings, and change request pricing.
- Process day-to-day administrative items (i.e. supply requisitions, RFI's, submittals, shop drawings, procurement, take-offs, etc.) as directed.
- Prepare special reports, studies, and statistical analysis per supervisor's request. May require research, development and / or interpretation of data with little supervision or instruction.
- Learn how to interpret project schedules, anticipate manpower requirements and measure subcontractor performance.
- Assist with the research and preparation of field change requests to resolve design issues.
- Participate in the continuous updating and accurate generation of as-built documents.
- Attend project coordination and owner / contractor / architect / engineer meetings as directed.
- Assume a proactive approach to career development. Utilize available resources within Egan, as well as request alternative instruction to learn how to become a successful project manager.
- Solicit and review project submittals; coordinate with project manager and purchasing.
- Build strong internal partnerships; work collaboratively with other Egan groups to support Egan's Mission, Vision and Values.
- Use basic understanding of financials and reporting to support a PM in related responsibilities.
- Perform additional duties and assignments as requested / needed.

Salary Range : $54,880-$68,600 (subject to such factors as experience, education, and / or skill set) plus potential annual discretionary bonus.
