Summary
The General Manager is responsible for the daily operational management and financial performance of a single immersive attraction. The GM serves as the key liaison between the attraction and senior management while also working closely with external partners to meet strategic goals.
Job Description
- Support Artistic and Brand Integrity: Ensure the attraction remains aligned with the creative vision and thematic goals in collaboration with studio partners and stakeholders.
- Operational Oversight: Manage all daily operations, including guest services, staff scheduling, safety protocols, and attraction maintenance.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor hourly staff, providing clear direction, regular performance reviews, and coaching to maintain a positive and effective team environment.
- Financial Management: Maintain and analyze departmental budgets, track expenses, and meet revenue goals. Collaborate on pricing strategies and monitor financial KPIs.
- Guest Experience Excellence: Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and escalations with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction while addressing operational challenges.
- Safety and Crisis Management: Lead response protocols for guest and staff emergencies, including medical and safety incidents. Conduct regular safety inspections to uphold the highest standards.
- Collaboration with Studio Partners: Serve as the primary point of contact for studio approvals related to branding, creative content, and operational adjustments. Maintain open communication to align operations with partnership agreements.
- Vendor and Third-Party Management: Oversee contracts and relationships with external service providers to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Facility Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of the attraction to ensure quality, safety, and operational excellence. Report and address any maintenance issues promptly.
- Strategic Planning and Innovation: Develop and implement action plans for operational improvements and long-term success. Stay informed on industry trends to enhance the guest experience.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as guest satisfaction scores, revenue benchmarks, and operational efficiency.
- Other Duties as Assigned: Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the company’s mission and objectives.
