Accountant, General Contractor
Position Summary :
The Accountant position has responsibility for accounting processes across a number of entities and interaction with all functional departments within the General Contactor organization. Only applicants with general contractor, construction company experience will be evaluated.
Primary responsibilities include :
- Preparing all project-related billings to customers for multiple entities
- Gathering, recording and reconciliation of all credit cards
- Process accounts payable for multiple entities
- Code incoming general and administrative (GA) invoices for payment
- Process accounts payable for multiple entities
- Work with subcontractors to ensure proper documents are received
- Confirm subcontract amounts and change orders against previous payments and verify that current billings are correct
- Record Cash Receipts and Deposits for multiple entities
- Conduct project reconciliation and close-out functions
- Assist with data collection and financial analysis, as needed
- Assist in internal and external audits
- Create reports and documents, as needed
- Maintain company files, electronic and paper
- Perform clerical support functions, as needed
Position requirements include :
Required experience includes :
Position is full time, in our Las Vegas office location, Monday through Friday 8 : 00AM – 5 : 00PM. Compensation to be commensurate with experience. Benefits include health insurance, paid holidays, vacation, sick time, and 401(k).
