POSITION SUMMARY

The Landscape Maintenance and Enhancement Project Manager is responsible for managing and delivering high-quality landscape maintenance and enhancement projects from inception to completion. This role involves overseeing project planning, scheduling, and execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Serving as the primary liaison between clients, crews, and vendors, the Project Manager ensures clear communication and efficient resource management. The position demands strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of landscape maintenance and enhancement operations to achieve client satisfaction and project success.

OBJECTIVES

  • Ensure all landscape maintenance and enhancement projects are completed within the established timelines.
  • Oversee project expenses and man hours to ensure they align with approved budgets while maximizing profitability.
  • Guarantee that all assigned work meets design specifications and the company’s high-quality standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Efficiently allocate labor, materials, and equipment to achieve project objectives while minimizing waste.
  • Supervise and guide assigned crews to maintain high levels of performance and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Identify and resolve client and field related issues promptly to prevent delays or additional costs.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and services from vendors and subcontractors while maintaining strong working relationships.
  • Keep detailed records of schedules, change orders, and expenditures for reference and reporting.
  • Analyze completed work to identify lessons learned and implement process improvements for future projects.

COMPETENCIES

  • Proven experience in landscape maintenance project management or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, basic plant identification, enhancement and planting practices and operation field related equipment
  • Proficiency in planning, scheduling, and managing landscape maintenance and enhancement projects from start to finish on high-end residential and commercial properties.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and manage assigned crews and subcontractors effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • In-depth understanding of landscape maintenance and enhancement industry standards and practices..
  • Skill in identifying challenges during field operations and implementing timely, cost-effective solutions.
  • Capability to monitor project expenses, ensure adherence to budgets, and maximize profitability.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards in work quality and ensuring projects meet design specifications.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to enforce compliance on job sites to minimize incidents.
  • Expertise in efficiently managing labor, equipment, and materials to optimize productivity.
  • Ability to foster positive client relationships through regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to walk, stand, and move around work sites for extended periods, including uneven terrain.
  • Capability to lift and carry materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Comfort with activities such as climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, or crouching during site inspections.
  • Strong visual focus for quality control, assessing site conditions, and ensuring company standards.
  • Ability to handle tools and equipment for occasional hands-on tasks or inspections.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
  • Capacity to hear and communicate effectively in noisy construction environments.
  • Physical stamina to work long hours, especially during peak project phases.
  • Ability to respond quickly and physically to site emergencies or urgent tasks.

Compensation:

  • Pay $60,000 - $70,000 plus bonuses and incentives

  • Valid Driver’s License (Required)
  • Hoisting License (Not required but a plus!)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
