Sales Associate, Cashier, and Stocker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Floor Associate/Cashier/Stocker to join our team in a fast-paced retail liquor store environment. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service while ensuring that our store remains well-stocked and organized. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask effectively. Applicant must be dependable, over the age of 21, and available to work evenings until 11pm.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash registers efficiently and accurately, processing customer transactions
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries and product selections
• Stock shelves and coolers with merchandise, ensuring products are displayed neatly and attractively
• Maintain cleanliness in the store, including aisles, checkout areas, and stockrooms
• Load and unload products as needed, ensuring proper handling and storage
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies
• Utilize retail math skills to manage pricing and promotions effectively
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and enhance the shopping experience

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers
• Experience operating cash registers and handling cash transactions
• Familiarity with grocery/liquor store operations and retail environments
• Bilingual abilities are a plus for effective communication with diverse customers
• Basic knowledge of retail math for pricing accuracy and inventory management
• Ability to physically unload and loading trucks
• Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the store
• Capability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Applicant must be 21 and able to work evening shift until 11pm. Typical hours would be 3 days a week, including Saturday's. 1pm-11pm availability is preferred, but other availability might be considered depending on experience and skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
