Busser/Food Runner

Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.

Duties

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
• Assist servers by providing support during busy service periods, including refilling drinks and clearing tables.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring that all tables are clean and ready for guests.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
• Help set up and break down dining areas for special events or catering functions as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others in a hospitality setting.
• Experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurant or catering environments, is preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both guests and team members.
• A proactive approach to cleanliness, ensuring that all areas remain tidy throughout service.
• Familiarity with hotel or hospitality operations is a plus.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Pay: $12.28 - $13.48 per hour
