What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist/Administrative Assistant position at Egypt Shrine Holding Corporation?
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls as necessary
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for multiple team members
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
- Assist with membership coordination and duties. Assist event coordinator with event inquiries.
-Receive shipments and mail and distribute accordingly.
- Manage office supplies and inventory
-Provide basic general information regarding current events happening in the building.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant is preferred
- Proficient in computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email communication
- Strong customer support skills with the ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner
- Familiarity with front desk operations, including managing incoming/outgoing mail and packages
- Experience with computerized systems such as QuickBooks or other accounting software is beneficial
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
