Overview : EHC Construction is an employee-owned company seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our team as Labor / Roller Operator. This role involves supporting various road construction and maintenance activities while ensuring the safety and efficiency of operations. Key Responsibilities : Perform physical labor, including digging, shoveling, and lifting heavy materials. Prepare new construction sites by digging, moving dirt, or compacting space. Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards. Experience as a roller, water truck and any other require equipment to complete the assigned job. Direct traffic safely around the construction or road maintenance site. Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks. Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment Ensure regulated and proper headgear, ear plugs, gloves, safety glasses, and clothing are worn Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner Prepare new construction sites by digging, moving dirt, or compacting space. Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly Assist equipment foreman, operators, and other skilled labor when necessary Operate the roller proficiently, safely, and efficiently to support construction operations. Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Maintain awareness of surroundings while operating the Loader on public or private roadways. Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment. Other duties may be assigned as needed to support project requirements. Qualifications : Must have reliable transportation. Be at least 18 years of age. Previous experience operating preferred. Ability to work in all weather conditions. Strong work ethic with a commitment to punctuality and reliability.
