EHC is currently looking for an Industrial Valve Technical Sales Representative for a client located in the Northeast region of the US (New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts). Our client is a national manufacturer of high quality stainless and carbon steel valves.
- Carbon and stainless ball valves flanged, threaded, socket weld.
- Multiport ball valves L and T port, flanged and threaded.
- Sanitary ball valves certified to 3A specifications.
- Resilient seated butterfly valves.
- Carbon steel and stainless steel, gate globe and check valves 150# and 300#.
- Forged steel and forged stainless steel, gate, globe and check valves.
- Complete in house actuation program.
This is a remote/hybrid role dependent on where the candidate is located. This position will require traveling to see customers and if the candidate is near a branch location they may be asked to come in every once in a while, but only if they live close to a branch location.
There will be travel required, the location of the candidate will determine how much. If the candidate is located in a highly populated customer area, their “travel” days will be lower than someone who would have to travel to meet with majority customers.

Responsibilities:
- Develop a complete understanding of all valve products
- Maintain a working knowledge of all relevant customer issues, pricing and billing procedures, and collections status.
- Remain knowledgeable of company’s products, market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies.
- Manage a balanced distribution network
- Develop and maintain lasting industry relationships with current clients and prospects
- Grow product acceptability with major market End Users and EP&C companies within a geographical region
- Required overnight travel within the geographical regions
- Ensure quotes and orders are done in a timely manner, meeting deadlines from sales team and customers
- Remain attuned to market trends and competitor activity
- Maintain current knowledge and job skills - advising management of any training needs
- Report on activities, progress, market information, and new ideas
- Integrate into local trade organizations and professional associations
- Always project professionalism and promote the company’s established reputation in the marketplace
- Develop and maintain a personal relationship with customers in the designated position territory
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Personal Attributes):
- Previous technical sales experience selling Industrial Valves and value-added products and services.
- Demonstrated achievements in sales
- Ability to develop and nurture long standing relationships
- 3 years of project management experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, professional image
- Strong organizational and time management skills; able to work in a virtual setting with minimal supervision.
