11th November, 2024Position Summary Plan, provide, supervise and document professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process for patients in accordance with physician orders and established policies and procedures. Use professional nursing judgment to individualize the plan of care based on assessment of the patient's baseline needs and response to care. Delegate tasks and supervises the activities of unlicensed care providers. Monitor and initiate corrective action to maintain the environment of care including equipment and material resources. Leads / guides licensed practical nurses, nurse aides and ancillary associates in the delivery of patient care. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein. Assist the Nurse Manager in promoting safe, cost effective, quality patient care. Minimum Requirements Graduated from an accredited Nursing Diploma, Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing- or higher Current NC RN license American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification is preferred.
