Job Description:
The Business Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, securing, and managing resources to ensure the successful execution of Next-Generation Fixed Wireless Access and Secure Wi-Fi initiatives.
This role involves managing scope, schedule, and budget (including risks) while coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects in a Hybrid (Agile & Waterfall) model.
This position requires collaboration with Product, Technology, Engineering, and Operations stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met efficiently.
While experience with the technology is beneficial, strong project management expertise is essential for success.
Major Responsibilities –
- Manages multiple complex projects with minimal supervision.
- Leads project planning, execution, and governance to support Next-Generation Fixed Wireless Access and Secure Wi-Fi initiatives.
- Oversees and maintains project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring risk management and mitigation strategies are in place.
- Manages cross-functional coordination across Product, Technology, Engineering, and Operations teams.
- Facilitates roadmap discussions to align teams and stakeholders on strategic priorities.
- Tracks and manages budget status, variance analysis, and cost resolutions.
- Develops detailed project schedules, resource plans, and status reports while tracking key milestones.
- Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies to ensure project success within Hybrid (Agile & Waterfall) methodologies.
- Communicates major milestones and project progress to leadership and stakeholders.
- Identifies dependencies and risks, conducts regular status meetings, and manages prioritization across multiple projects.
- Leads change management efforts, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Creates and delivers executive-level presentations and stakeholder reports.
- Ensures adherence to EPMO governance methodologies, managing compliance and documentation.
- Works closely with other project managers to share best practices and key project insights.
Qualifications –
- Required - 5 years of experience in business project management, change
- Experience managing scope, schedule, and budget (including risk management).
- Ability to manage projects in a Hybrid (Agile & Waterfall) model.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills, with a demonstrated ability to execute multiple projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and results-oriented environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across all levels and functions within an organization. - Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
- Executive-level presentation skills and experience in meeting facilitation.
- Needs VERY strong communication and relationship skills; comms needs to be crisp, and the person will need to understand enough to ask the right questions and be willing to challenge
