Title: DVT Technician
Location: Waltham, MA (Onsite)
Duration: 6 months
Openings: 4
Shift Hours: Standard hours.
Hardware Test Technician to be part of our future, as we continue to lead the world in robotic innovation. The Hardware Test Technician will be working side-by-side with our design engineers to execute and maintain manual and automated test suites. You will report regularly on testing progress.
Day to day activities:
- Follow and execute DVT plans developed by design engineers and other tests on complex PCBA assemblies
- Document tests as they are executed and record results clearly and concisely
- Perform tests within thermal chambers
- Be a vocal proponent of quality
Desired skills:
- Experience using lab equipment including oscilloscopes, DMM, power supplies, programmable loads, thermal probes
- Demonstrated experience reading electrical PCBA schematics
- High attention to detail and keeping an organized test space
- Be able to multitask, and change priorities quickly as needed
- Be able to clearly communicate test results and data
Nice to have:
- Rework and soldering skills
- Hands-on experience designing, building and debugging electro-mechanical test setups
- Experience with communication interfaces, e.g. CAN, Ethernet, SPI, and I2C
- Experience working with robots and/or robotic systems.
- Experience with Compliance Testing and HALT
- Experience using schematic capture and PCB layout software
