Job Description
The consultant’s work will be focused on traditional lab equipment such as:
- Cell counters
- Spectrophotometers
- Cell processors
- Centrifuges
Their Day-Day Responsible include:
- Initial onboarding of new equipment
- Configuring and connecting equipment to the network
- Setting up user access and permissions
- Troubleshooting issues with equipment
- Coordinating with vendors for maintenance and repairs
- Participating in administrative/qualification activities
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Blend of lab expertise and IT/computer systems experience
- Ideally some prior experience in a similar role supporting lab operations but MUST have Familiarity with common lab equipment and instrumentation
- Understanding of GMP requirements and associated administrative functions
- Ability to work with Active Directory, user rights management, and networking
Most of the work for 2025 will be on-site, either at Smith St or ~1 mile up the road at Wyman St, though remote work is not out of the question where practical and safe (identifying these activities is one of the objectives of the engagement, as indicated above).
