We are seeking an experienced Plaintiff Litigation Assistant to join our team at Eichen Crutchlow Zaslow LLP. This role will provide critical support to our partner in all stages of plaintiff personal injury litigation, including drafting pleadings, conducting research, and managing cases from inception to settlement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation support and excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Providing exceptional support to our partner in plaintiff personal injury litigation matters
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Conducting research on complex litigation issues and developing strategies for resolution
- Managing case files, including organizing and electronically filing pleadings
- Scheduling calendars, coordinating with clients and witnesses, and managing court appearances
- Negotiating liens with physicians and healthcare providers
- Preparing discovery, including document requests and depositions
- Handling closing documents for settlements
- Scheduling legal proceedings, including trials and hearings
Requirements:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Plaintiff Litigation Assistant with 8 years of experience in litigation support. A Paralegal certification is a plus but not a requirement. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
