Description
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Respite Client Coordinator to oversee intake administration and ensure the smooth operation of our respite care programs. This role involves providing direct DSP services, supporting intake, billing, maintaining compliance with regulations, and assisting with individualized service plans. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting individuals in respite care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the intake process for new cases, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
- Work closely with families, caregivers, and service providers to facilitate seamless transitions into respite care.
- Maintain and update client records in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Assist in implementing Individual Life Plans (LP) and ensure they align with client needs and goals.
- Monitor daily respite activities to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Provide Direct Support Professional (DSP) community services to help individuals achieve their goals.
- Address concerns and escalate issues when necessary to ensure appropriate resolution.
- Conduct regular compliance reviews and report findings to the Director.
- Support administrative tasks related to the efficient operation of the respite program.
Qualifications
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHR systems.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and efficiently manage administrative duties.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to respite services is a plus.
- Experience in respite care or similar settings preferred.
