The primary function of this position is to manage issues, budgets and schedules to meet specific goals that improve department and key measures, as well as quality and performance goals.
Representative Duties:
1. Ability to to build and repair existing molds, providing cost estimates, timing requirements and complete reporting and documentation as required.
2. Performs complex tool making procedures requiring fitting and assembling parts, and making adjustments to meet requirements.
3. Work within a team environment to resolve production issues or tool failures in our production facilities.
4. Must be able to operate all Tool Room equipment.
5. Ability to program CNC milling machines using Cimitron.
6. Must have the ability to program conversational and tool path programs in multiple formats. Also able to use a computer to make prints.
7. Wire EDM experience is a must.
8. Have knowledge of Plastic Injection Molds and Plastic processing.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
1. Good hand-eye coordination.
2. Significant use of fine motor skills, with repetitive motion.
3. Long periods of time standing, walking, twisting and bending.
4. Lifting to 100 pounds.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. 5 years experience in related area with strong trouble-shooting skills.
2. Successfully completed a federal journeyman program in Machining or Mold making.
3. Possession of or ability to gain fork-lift license and overhead crane.
4. Good mechanical skills.
5. Must work well with others at all levels of the organization.
6. Good listening and organization skills.
7. Must be willing and able to work overtime when required.
8. Must have ability to follow directions, have good common sense and possess problem-solving
skills.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
