Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Counselors to join our team for the 2025 summer camp season. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in fostering a safe, fun, and engaging environment for campers. You will be responsible for assisting with assigned classes, facilitating activities, and providing guidance with STEAM projects. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about STEAM education and eager to make a positive impact inspiring the next generation of scientists, programmers, roboticists, and engineers.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with campers during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist instructors with the facilitation of activities through our STEAM education programs.
- Serve as a role model, encouraging positive interactions and fostering a sense of community.
- Communicate effectively with campers, instructors, and the camp director regarding camper needs and progress.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized camp environment.
Experience & Requirements
Ideal candidates will possess experience or skills in the following areas:
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Experience working with kids grades K to 8th.
- Infectious enthusiasm for fostering innovation and creativity in children's learning.
- Interest in the STEAM field: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children and adults alike.
- The ability to move around a classroom and oversee outdoor activities.
- The ability to lift and move materials, up to 20 pounds.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
