Job Overview
Einstein Tutoring is seeking a certified Orton-Gillingham (OG) Tutor to provide virtual, one-on-one instruction to students with reading and language-based learning differences. The ideal candidate must be OG-certified and have experience working with students who require structured literacy support. Availability for at least 4-6 hours per week during school hours is required.
This role is essential in helping students develop foundational reading, spelling, and writing skills through a multisensory, structured approach. The tutor will work closely with each student, adapting instruction to meet their specific learning needs and foster academic confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized, virtual Orton-Gillingham tutoring sessions to students who require structured literacy intervention.
- Implement evidence-based, multisensory strategies to support reading, spelling, and writing development.
- Assess student progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly to ensure mastery of key literacy skills.
- Foster an engaging, supportive online learning environment that promotes student success.
- Maintain clear communication with parents and school personnel, providing updates on student progress.
- Keep accurate records of lesson plans, student performance, and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Must be Orton-Gillingham certified (Associate or Certified level preferred).
- Experience working with students with dyslexia, language-based learning disabilities, or reading challenges.

- Ability to engage students virtually, ensuring active participation in lessons.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff.
- Reliable internet connection and proficiency with online tutoring platforms.
