Landscape Quality Assurance
Salary Range: $25.00-$30.00/hourly
Summary:
The Landscape Quality Control Specialist ensures all landscaping projects meet company and client quality standards. This role involves inspecting landscapes, identifying improvement opportunities, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and providing feedback to teams to enhance service quality and client satisfaction.
Duties/Responsibilities:

- Quality Assurance & Inspections:
- Conduct regular on-site inspections of completed and ongoing landscaping projects.
- Evaluate the quality of landscaping work, including planting, pruning, irrigation, and overall site aesthetics.
- Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and company standards.
- Identify defects, deficiencies, or areas needing improvement and document findings.
- Process Improvement:
- Develop and implement quality assurance checklists and protocols.
- Provide actionable feedback to landscaping crews to address quality issues.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and maintain high standards.
- Training & Development:
- Train team members in best practices, quality standards, and company expectations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and techniques, sharing knowledge with the team.
- Customer & Client Relations:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their expectations and address concerns promptly.
- Communicate inspection results and follow-up actions to clients and stakeholders.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and local laws.
- Monitor proper use of equipment and adherence to safety guidelines by team members.
Qualifications/Requirements:
· Experience: Minimum of 3 years in landscaping or related quality control roles.
· Education: High school diploma or equivalent (relevant certifications preferred, such as Certified Landscape Technician).
· Knowledge: Strong understanding of landscaping techniques, plant care, irrigation systems, and hardscape installations.
· Skills:
o Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to use landscaping tools and technology, including mobile apps for inspections.
o Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
· Physical Demands: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Degree in horticulture, landscaping, or related field.
· Proficiency in using quality control software or tools.
· Knowledge of sustainable landscaping practices.
Working Conditions:
This role involves a mix of outdoor fieldwork and office-based administrative tasks. Depending on project needs, the candidate must be flexible with working hours, including early mornings or weekends.
