EIT, Inc. is seeking an Expert PNT GPS Engineer
Duties:
The SME Engineer must have an understanding and previous experience in GPS Navigation including its related equipment and use for all aspects of aviation including terminal area procedures and enroute navigation. SME must have experience in developing, documenting, and providing training for the use of GPS Navigation systems.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in the electrical, computer or mechanical engineering branch from a college or university with a degree curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, Inc. (ABET) with at least 20 years experience. Master's Degree’s in related field may be substituted for Bachelor's degree and 3 years experience. PhD in related field may be substituted for Bachelor's degree and 7 years experience.
- Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 20 years
For Example: PHD with 13 years experience is qualified.
- Relevant Experience: Experience in Satellite Navigation Systems, Proficiency in PNT and a strong background in systems integration and signal processing. Experience with FAA and Military standards and compliance are required. Must possess Commercial or military pilot experience. Strong analytical skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills and interpersonal relations skills.
Candidate must be able to obtain at least a Public Trust Clearance. U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency is a requirement.
