Water Products Assembly- Summer Help

EJ Water Products has immediate openings for an Assembler at our Water Products facility on 1st and 2nd shift for a temporary summer position, starting pay of $22.40 per hour plus an additional $1.50 shift premium. Temporary employment dates tentatively May-September.

SUMMARY

Supports and assists the production function by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Ability to read and interpret drawings/diagrams/prints, and daily work instructions.
• Ability to operate various shop tools such as impact drills, socket wrenches, hand grinders, hoists, etc.
• Ability to proficiently use micrometers, Vernier calipers, and various other measuring devices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervision and fellow employees.
• Works both diligently alone as well as a part of a greater team depending on projects.
• Promotes safety awareness, accident prevention, and employee involvement with regard to a safe work environment. Ensures employees understand the safety expectations of the organization.
• Promotes the company culture, the mission and vision, and the core values of the company.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts or airborne particles and minimal heat.
