• Listening to your needs and preferences before matching you with assignments
• Being just a call away for any concerns or questions
• Offering free, online training that covers trauma-informed teaching, classroom management, and more
• Designating a Scoot consultant to support your subbing journey - Most of our consultants used to be teachers so they can share teaching advice.Additional benefits :

• Work closely with students, either 1 : 1 or across entire classrooms
• Assist various mod to severe scenarios such as Toileting; Personal 1 : 1 Care; Non-Verbal; Challenging or Aggressive Behaviors in the Classroom
• Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment
• Support resource teacher(s) in delivering IEP's (individual education plans)
• Follow direction from, and assist lead educatorsYou'll need :
• At least 1yr experience working with children / adults with special needs; OR
• At least 1yr year in a classroom / education setting
• Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 48 college credits
• A copy of your CBEST test results
• Three References with one by a previous direct supervisor
• Background Check (we'll cover the cost of this!)
• TB risk assessment within 90 days
