Nanny/Caregiver

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and responsible full-time Nanny to provide exceptional care for two children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be able to start in mid-April and continue to provide care for the foreseeable future (at least the next 12 months). This role requires an individual who can engage two children in educational activities while also managing daily routines and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and ensuring the safety of the children, including, if necessary, summoning emergency assistance
• Preparing meals/snacks and feeding the children
• Maintaining childrens’ hygiene during working hours (e.g., diaper changes, wiping hands/faces as needed)
• Engaging in age-appropriate activities and playtime
• Responsibility for light housekeeping related to childcare (e.g., tidying play areas, washing children’s dishes, wiping surfaces/sweeping floor around high chairs after meal times)
• Administering medication if necessary

Experience

• Previous experience in babysitting, nannying, or working in daycare settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with toddler care and preschool education principles is highly desirable.
• Skills in meal preparation and cooking for children are beneficial.
• Certification in first aid or CPR is an advantage but not required; willingness to obtain certification is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.71 - $21.54 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
