EJO Ventures (https://www.ejoventures.net/) is an Aviation IT Design/Consulting, Systems Integration and Project Management firm. EJO Ventures is looking for self-motivated individuals with construction and hand tools experience. We have an immediate opportunity for entry-level Site Helper, for ongoing technology/construction projects at the Nashville Airport.
A qualified candidate must possess generic knowledge and proficiency working with power tools, mastery over smart devices (tablets, laptops, cell phones, etc.), an interest for developing skills in an IT-centric field, knowledge of safety practices on construction job sites (steel toe boots, safety vest, hard hat, etc.), and reliable transportation. This will be a Temp Position, with potential for Full-Time Hire if the candidate excels.
Construction experience is required and "IT Curiosity" is preferred. Military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply. Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma. Prefer IT and/or construction/safety certifications.

All candidates MUST pass a criminal background check, 10-panel drug screening test, have current valid drivers’ license, and proof of work eligibility.
Job Responsibilities to include:
- Follow project instructions from their IT and construction manager or supervisor
- Assist contractors as needed
- Comply with universal IT security procedures
- Clean and clear debris from the work area
- Ensure equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly
- Consult with construction and IT plans
- Learn familiarity with wireless internet access points, audio/video equipment, and/or control wiring, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
- must have a willingness to become proficient with hand tools, ladders, and personal protective safety equipment
- must be able to troubleshoot basic IT and networking issues
- must be able to pass a criminal background check
- must be able to pass a drug screening
- must have a cell phone
- Must own a pair of steel toe boots
- must have reliable transportation
- must have a laptop with Windows OS
- must have a valid drivers’ license
- must be proficient in Microsoft Office and basic math skills
- must be physically fit; able to maneuver up to 50lbs and climb ladders up to 30ft.
- must have a clean and neat appearance
- must be a self-starter with a good work ethic and ability to work independently
- must have availability to work 3rd shift (6PM to 2AM) opportunities when needed
