- Provide specialized care for patients requiring procedures such as spinal taps, cardiac catheterization, and ostomy care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Assist in the management of patients in assisted living facilities or hospital settings, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Perform dialysis procedures for patients with renal issues as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Skills
- Proficient in performing vital signs assessments and interpreting results.
- Strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety practices.
- Experience or training in spinal tap procedures is preferred.
- Familiarity with cardiac catheterization techniques is a plus.
