Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including acute care and senior care environments. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and needs.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on diagnostic evaluations.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' progress and respond to changes in their condition, including triage in emergency situations.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in a Level I Trauma Center environment to deliver coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, occupational health, and acute care practices.
- Experience in senior care or pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in diagnostic evaluation techniques and triage processes.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate patients on their health conditions.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple patient cases.
