Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse for our Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, support medical staff, and ensure the well-being of patients undergoing various treatments and procedures. Duties
- Assess and monitor patient health status, including vital signs and symptoms.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform tube feeding and assist with daily living activities for patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education and health coaching to patients and their families regarding treatment options and self-care strategies.
- Maintain accurate patient records using ICD-9 coding as necessary.
- Assist in procedures related to ophthalmology, ER cases, or senior care as needed.
- Conduct phlebotomy for blood draws and other diagnostic tests.
- Lift and transfer patients safely while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Previous experience in a medical/surgical setting preferred.
- Proficiency in tube feeding techniques and patient lifting protocols.
- Knowledge of phlebotomy practices and ability to perform blood draws.
- Familiarity with ICD-9 coding is desirable.
- Experience in senior care or emergency room settings is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Pay: $60.00 - $68.00 per hour
