The role is crucial in supporting healthcare professionals by providing essential data for medical decision-making.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements:
- Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT): Typically requires an associate degree in clinical laboratory technology or a related field.
- Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS): Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science or a related field.
- Certification from recognized bodies (e.g., ASCP, AMT) is often required or preferred.
