We are a well-established insurance brokerage & consulting firm in Huntington NY.
Our primary focus is on group benefits and other insurance related products.
We are looking for bright, hardworking individuals looking to start / continue working within the insurance industry; experience is preferred.
Potential applicants will be trained to service an assigned book of business with minimal producer or management involvement. You will be working alongside a team of Account Managers with the goal of developing independence as you gain more experience.
You will be trained to assist in the marketing / quoting / implementation process of new and renewal accounts for group benefits. You will also manage the day to day client calls related to service, plan requirements and benefit questions.
Ideally, an applicant would be knowledgeable with group health & ancillary benefits.
Ideal qualifications :
3 years of experience as a Customer Care Professional or Rapid Resolution Expert, within the Health or Life Insurance Industry
- Microsoft Office : Excel- formula and spreadsheet applications MANDATORY
- Word - Formatting professional letters and word processing A MUST
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Ability to handle multiple heavy / complex tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Detail Oriented
- Proven customer service / relationship building skills
- Strong analytical / problem solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of all functional areas
- Bachelor's Degree
Hours are Monday-Friday 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm. Medical, dental, vision, FSA and 401K benefits available. Salary dependent upon experience.
