Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to ensure smooth operations within the office. Responsibilities
- Enters, verifies, maintains, and corrects data on the computer.
- Properly accounting for the location of incoming goods.
- Assuring no damaged items are sent or received.
- Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt.
- Inspect the contents of shipments to ensure they are undamaged.
- Verify packages according to order and packing slips.
- Contact sales representative or shipping company if a mistake is identified.
- Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place.
- Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control.
- General filing associated with warehouse goods in admin role.
- Update warehouse database with project history.
- Uses Microsoft Office programs, and various web applications.
- Handles warehouse office inquiries, status calls, answers, and return calls.
- Assists with scheduling all work assignments for warehouse personnel.
- Manage daily administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars.
- Serve as a personal assistant to executives, providing support in various capacities as needed.
- Answer phone calls with professional phone etiquette and direct inquiries appropriately.
- Assist in filing, typing, and maintaining organized records and documents.
- Greet visitors at the front desk and provide them with necessary information or assistance.
- Perform clerical duties such as data entry, document preparation, and correspondence management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Administrative Assistant or similar position.
- Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data.
- Basic math and recording abilities
- Excellent organizational skills
- Great communication and interpersonal abilities
- Keen eye for detail.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for enhanced communication capabilities.
- 18 years or older.
- Must be able to pass background check.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent clerical skills including typing accuracy and filing proficiency.
